I’m reaching out today to humbly ask you to pitch in $1 to help me hold this toss-up district here in Kansas.

$1 will help me defeat the extremist outside groups who are pouring more and more money behind my opponent.

$1 will help me keep up the fight to defend abortion rights, protect our democracy, and deliver real progress for Kansas families.

$1 will help ensure that come January of 2025, we have a majority in the U.S. House that will respect the outcome of this fall’s election.

You may be wondering, does donating just $1 really accomplish anything? And the answer is absolutely.

In this race, I’m up against an extremist opponent who is raking in huge donations from anti-abortion extremists and election deniers. But that’s never been how I do things. I flipped this seat blue — and then held it in two consecutive tough elections — by building a massive grassroots coalition. Hard-working folks just giving what they can, when they can.

So today, given all that we’re up against, and all that’s riding on the outcome, I am asking you to give what you can. If everyone reading this pitches in just $1, that alone would pay for a big chunk of our organizing effort — and help us reach out to voters who aren’t tuned into this race yet and may not know about the progress I’ve fought to deliver in Congress.

In other words, your support — just $1, or more if you’re able and you feel like it — really, truly does make a difference. If you’re worried or stressed about how this current election is going, then pitching in today is an opportunity to take action in a real, meaningful, and impactful way.
