Our movement needs to be ready to give voters what they need to participate in the democratic process Hi Indivisibles,
There’s been a lot of chaos recently as states try to handle the COVID-19 pandemic while holding primary elections (have you noticed?). We saw it last week in Wisconsin, and right now we’re seeing it in Georgia as the primary gets postponed for the second time.
In the short term, we’re working with a partner organization, the Voter Participation Center, to call voters in Georgia in the coming days and make sure they have the most up-to-date information on how and when to vote.
But this is exposing an ongoing need. The situation with voting and the coronavirus is not likely to get any clearer any time soon, and our movement needs to be ready to give voters what they need to participate in the democratic process.
Luckily, a donor has reached out to make a matching donation in support of this work -- every dollar up to $50,000 will be matched! This is particularly great news right now because it means if you donate, you’ll have twice the impact. But only if you give.
Can you make a $10 donation to fund voter outreach, education, and all the other work Indivisible Civics will do this year? Every dollar will be matched!
If you’ve saved your information with ActBlue Express Lane, your donation to Indivisible Civics will go through immediately:
You give $10, we get $20 >>
You give $25, we get $50 >>
You give $50, we get $100 >>
Give another amount -- it’s doubled! >>
Like many of you, the work we’re doing this year isn’t exactly what we’d expected when we made our plans for 2020. But we know we still have work to do -- and making sure voters can participate is one of our core goals for strengthening our movement this year. We hope you can be a part of it.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
