This was another beautiful moment to recognize the fight for love, equality, acceptance, and the amazing progress we’ve made together. The vibrant Pride celebrations this month are a reminder that everyone deserves to be themselves and feel safe doing so. Pride Month is also a call to action. While we’ve come a long way, there are forces of bigotry and intolerance eager to erase our hard-won rights if given the opportunity. LGBTQIA+ progress is at greater risk if Democrats do not win back the House. Another term with a GOP House majority could lead to policies and rulings that threaten key Supreme Court decisions, like Obergefell v. Hodges which legalized same-sex marriage nationwide. John, we’re counting on folks like you to sustain the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights and protect our hard-won progress.
