5 Ways to Be Salt and Light during Pride Month |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
As gratifying as it is to see big corporations and sports leagues back off Pride Month, there are plenty of other ways Christians can - and should - be engaging the world this June. Pushing back on the tidal wave of rainbows, parades, and retail activism is important, but it's just a piece of our broader calling. There's also a very real human component to this debate that we need to navigate together if we're ever going to see the deep cultural change that so many of us hope for. |

by S.A. McCarthy |
Former President Donald Trump recently spoke virtually at a Christian conservative conference but received some criticism for failing to address the issue of abortion, a top priority for many evangelicals heading into November. On Monday, Trump appeared in a pre-recorded video message at the Danbury Institute's Life and Liberty Forum, which took place during the Southern Baptist Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. "I want to thank each and every one of you for your tremendous devotion to God and to country - and your tremendous support of me," Trump said to attendees. "And I hope I've earned it, because we've done things that nobody thought were possible to have gotten done." |

TCH had publicly halted its gender transition program after the procedures became illegal in Texas, but Dr. Eithan Haim, then finishing his surgical residency there, discovered the hospital was continuing the procedures and deliberately hiding the records. Haim felt morally obligated to expose this illegal duplicity, and he did so, anonymously at first. |

Christian LifeWise Academy Sees Successful Growth, Sparks Leftist Backlash |
by Sarah Holliday |
LifeWise Academy is a Christian ministry founded in 2018 by Joel Penton. Its existence is tied to the 1952 Zorach v. As a result of this decades-old decision, LifeWise has been able to legally establish chapters at over 500 locations across 23 states, which has resulted in roughly 31,000 students who now regularly engage in biblical teaching during their time at school. |

Roughly eight months ago, Israel was brutally attacked by the terrorist organization Hamas. More than 1,200 were murdered - predominantly civilians - while countless others suffered from various degrees of torture and trauma. Two hundred fifty hostages were also taken, some of whom were released or rescued in the first few months of response. Since then, though, the fate of the remaining 120 hostages has been deeply uncertain. But on Saturday, four more hostages were successfully rescued from Gaza by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). |
