Lily Geiger grew up with a parent struggling with substance use. She shares with us how this difficult experience inspired her to create Figlia, a non-alcoholic beverage company.
“I was mostly inspired by a lifetime of growing up with a parent who battled with alcoholism…I was always aware, from day one, the options that were not available for those who don’t drink.”
By creating her company, Lily is addressing the growing demand for non-alcoholic beverages, particularly among young adults who are looking for alternatives to alcohol.
“I first and foremost have created this product for the sober community. So even though a lot of our customers may not identify as fully sober – they just want to drink less – I still wanted this to be a safe option for those who can’t drink.”
Lily donates a percentage of Figlia’s sales to Partnership to End Addiction. She understands the need for families to get the help they need for substance use and mental health disorders. With her generosity and the support of all our donors, we can reach more families with the help they need.
“I wanted to find an organization that tied back to my story that we could give a percentage of proceeds to. And one that I could be involved with as much as I can.”
Lily is working on creating a new flavor and expanding Figlia’s reach. She hopes people turn to her products as alcohol awareness grows and people continue to prioritize their health.
