Over the years, the Democratic Party of Oregon has become stronger and stronger by building on our winning strategy. Salutation, your contribution gives the Democratic Party of Oregon the resources to elect more Democrats by supporting our programs like:
The Neighborhood Leader Program, In 2022 alone, we recruited over 2,100 volunteer Neighborhood Leaders who reached out to over 120,000 Democrats by door, phone and mail, and 90% of those contacted turned out to vote. And so far in 2024, we have already recruited over 3,300 Neighborhood Leaders!
Grassroots Field Program – by building early in 2020 we recruited over 7,300 volunteer shifts. Working with the coordinated campaign and allies, volunteers made over 1,070,000 voter calls, sent 240,000 postcards and a quarter of a million get-out-the vote texts.
The Local Elections Program has trained over 588 campaign activists in 29 counties and supported 500 candidate campaigns. And over 80% of local Democratic candidates who’ve filed have won their elections!
