John – I’m about to begin the first debate of this campaign, so I wanted to reach out with some news before I take the stage.
First, the (very) good news: Thanks to overwhelming grassroots support, I’ve outraised my opponent in every quarter this cycle. We’re leading this race!
Now, the bad news: Because of our incredible momentum, I’m going to be a top target for attacks – from my opponent and the political pundits who say “she’s too young” and “she needs to wait her turn, now is not her time.” This is despite having served our country, serving my community as an elected councilor, having a hand in creating local jobs, and bringing the experience of raising two young daughters in this day and age.
I know my opponent is planning to use this debate to outraise us behind the scenes and crush the momentum we’ve built. But together, we won’t let that happen.
So I need a surge of support – 740 donations – before the end of the debate to make their plan backfire. If we fall short, it’ll be a huge blow to our momentum in these last 14 days before Election Day. Can you rush $27 or whatever you can afford to my campaign now? >>

🔹 Onstage, I’ll expose my opponent’s record (like voting with Republicans on the environment) that clearly doesn’t align with what our people in this district want.
🔹Behind the scenes, I’m calling for a surge of donations from my grassroots team.
🔹Then, we’re going to shock my opponent and his corporate special interests by raising $20,000 and outraising them with ONLY small-dollar, grassroots donations.
I can handle proving that I’m the Democratic candidate that NY-22 deserves onstage. But I need YOU to help me outraise my opponent off the stage.
