The impacts are already here: People are dying, crops are failing, and ecosystems are collapsing. Just this spring, dozens died in India as temperatures hit 50°C (122°F), brutal heatwaves shriveled crops in Southeast Asia, and howler monkeys dropped dead from trees in Mexico.

This is not a future that we will accept.
