And in 2022, he signed into law the most consequential package of gun violence prevention policies in 30 years.
It is possible to overcome gun lobby obstruction and implement proven-effective solutions to finally free America from gun violence, but it will take a leader who knows what it means to be dedicated to the fight to save lives, who cares for survivors and communities affected by gun violence.
