Hey again. Sam Cornale here, Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee.

If you're anything like me, you’re getting to the point in the election where your inbox is filling up with emails from campaigns and organizations asking for donations ahead of the election.

It can be a lot, I know.

But if you can give me just 30 seconds, I'd like to make the case for why you should respond to this email with a donation. What do you say?

First, if you care about electing Democrats up and down the ballot this November, there is no organization more suited to do that than the Democratic National Committee.

That means everything from reelecting Joe Biden and defeating Trump to winning local races in your area.

Second, like any organization, we have unexpected expenses -- and Trump's recent record fundraising means we need to raise a bit more money than we had previously anticipated to accomplish our goal of electing Democrats.

The average online donation to the DNC is around $31. Some give more, some give less. All we're asking is for you to make whatever donation amount feels right to you to help Democrats win this fall.
