For this week’s update, we’re excited to report back from the Texas Democratic Convention!  Over the weekend, Lizzie and the team were in El Paso meeting with Democrats from #TX07 and across the state.  On Friday evening, Lizzie took to the main convention stage to introduce the keynote speaker and the next Senator from Texas, Colin Allred.

We were so excited to see so many Democrats from home, especially the #TX07 delegates who traveled to El Paso and our neighbors from across Harris and Ft. Bend counties who are critical to the work ahead.  It was great to meet with Democrats from across Texas, to thank them for their hard work, and to see all of the great energy for winning this year’s vital elections.

Election Day is only 21 weeks away.  That’s not very many.  Each of us has an important role to play—and with elections and runoffs for the November ballot now behind us, we are moving full speed ahead to November.  As #TeamLizzie organizes to re-elect Lizzie and help other Democrats like Colin win their elections, we need everyone showing up in all the ways they can—whether that’s volunteering, contributing, spreading the word, voting, or all of the above.  As we organize for the fall, we’ll have many opportunities to get involved and will be in touch to share them with you!
