Turbulence in airplanes has reached an all-time high. That’s why I introduced the Severe Turbulence Research and Development Act — legislation that would monitor turbulence more closely to help us better understand the root cause.

I’m proud to announce that the FAA reauthorization that includes my bill just passed the House and was signed into law by President Biden!

While I’m happy to address turbulence in the sky to make flying safer for all, unfortunately, it’s happening on the ground too — in Congress.

I know, I know – I made that comparison on the fly, but I’m serious. Trying to accomplish change for Michiganders in Washington lately has been bumpy.

Republicans are being a plane in the neck by blocking Democrats at every turn. And they can’t even be effective nor cohesive within their own party!

I didn't sign up for crash and burn policies when I decided to run for Congress, and I won’t be on standby to watch Republicans destroy everything in their path.
