President Biden is attempting to rewrite the history of his border failures.
Last week, the President announced and signed an executive order to stop illegal aliens claiming asylum at the southern border if daily encounters exceed 2,500 for seven consecutive days. The measure includes several exceptions, such as visa holders, unaccompanied minors, victims of human trafficking, and individuals seeking entry via the Biden Administration’s notorious CBP One app.
Folks, the only acceptable number of illegal border crossings is ZERO.
Plus, President Biden can’t magically transform the crisis he created.
Since day one, Joe Biden has ignored immigration law, destroyed our border security, and incentivized illegal migration. In his first 100 days alone, President Biden took 94 executive actions on the border, including eliminating President Trump’s successful border security policies.
As you well know, the consequences have been catastrophic.
From the tragic murder of Laken Riley to the recent shooting of two NYPD officers, the President’s wide-open border agenda has devastated communities across the country. Yet for the last three and a half years, President Biden has done nothing to reverse course. Avoidable tragedies, record-high illegal border encounters, surging fentanyl seizures, and countless national security threats have all fallen on deaf ears.
So, why the sudden change? Because the 2024 election is less than five months away.
President Biden’s “border security” executive order is nothing more than a desperate attempt to gaslight the country in hopes of boosting his chances in November. Yet the American people see straight through this blatant election-year gimmick.
After all, this too little, too late border action is exposing President Biden’s lies.
The White House has repeatedly claimed that Biden’s hands are tied on the border, erroneously blaming Congress for the ongoing illegal invasion. Yet the President’s political stunt proves that he’s always had the executive authority to shut down the border.
Simply put, Biden’s election-year border charade won’t secure our border or fool the American people.
