Team, it’s that time of year again – our Democracy Summer Fellows program is starting up and we need your help as we work to train the next generation of Democratic organizers and leaders!
This 6-week program – started by my friend and colleague Jamie Raskin – places thousands of high school and college-aged students nationwide on congressional campaigns where they learn from activists, historians, and policy experts on the ins and outs of campaigns and running for office.
I’m looking forward to welcoming some new fellows to our team in just a few weeks, and I want to make sure that cost is not a barrier for our team this year. It runs about $1,000 for every student who participates, so only if you’re able, would you consider helping us train the next generation of Democratic organizers and leaders?
