Hi John,
In case you want to sign the petition opposing the ban on new gas and diesel vehicles, I just want to clear some things up.
First, we got lot of emails about the petition link not working. Thanks for letting us know. The petition got so many signatures our service provider had some glitches. Sorry about that. But it’s all fixed now.
So if you want to sign the petition, you can automatically add your name by clicking this link: http://www.taxpayer.com/petition/no-ban-on-gas-and-diesel-vehicles
One more thing… When you click the automatic link, your name is automatically added to the petition and a confirmation page will pop up. Nice and easy. There’s a donation option, but that’s completely optional. If you click the automatic link, your name’s already on the petition and the donation form is optional. We’re just glad to have you on our side.
Anyway – below is the email about the gas and diesel vehicle ban petition and the link is working.
Have a good one.
Todd.

Hi John,
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to ban gas and diesel vehicles, but you can fight back right now.
Here’s what’s happening:
Trudeau released a regulation to phase out gas and diesel vehicles.
The feds will only allow dealerships to offer new gas and diesel vehicles as 80 per cent of their inventory in 2026. By 2030, that number will be down to 40 per cent.
By 2035, the government plans to completely ban the sale of new gas and diesel vehicles.
How will governments pay for new power plants to run all these new electric vehicles? By hiking your taxes and power bills.
If people want to buy an electric vehicle, that’s great, but it should be their choice.
Some people think they can sit back and do nothing because the ban could be scrapped after the next election.
But doing nothing isn’t an option.
Check out this advice for organizations who want to drive change.
“If you do have a policy proposal, don’t tell me about it,” wrote Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre. “Convince Canadians that it’s good for them.
“When they start telling me about your ideas on the doorstep in Windsor, Troi-Rivieres and Port Alberni, then I’ll think about enacting it.”
The message is crystal clear: if you want to stop bad policies like a ban on gas and diesel vehicles, you need to speak up.
Here’s a way for you to take a stand.
Will you sign the PETITION to stop the ban on new gas and diesel vehicles?
We, the undersigned, call on the prime minister to protect taxpayers and say no to a ban on gas and diesel vehicles.
When you stand with thousands of other Canadians – you’re making a difference. And that’s how you stop bad decisions from happening.
- YES – I’LL SIGN THE PETITION (just click this link to automatically add your name)
- No – I’d rather not sign the petition today (click here if you’d like to tell us why)
All the best,
Franco Terrazzano
