Republicans talk glowingly about in vitro fertilization (IVF) in public, but behind closed doors, they sing a much different tune.
Last week, extreme House Republicans proposed an amendment that would BAN access to IVF and other fertility treatments for veterans who receive care through the VA – depriving thousands of women who fought to defend our freedoms the right to try and start a family through this effective and safe procedure.
Lori and her husband had both of their daughters thanks to IVF, so she knows how devastating it would be for our nation’s veterans to be denied that same opportunity.
Friends, just like with Roe , the far-right are trying to mislead voters by hiding their true intentions about IVF. But this time, the American people are not falling for their tricks.
We can’t allow extremist MAGA Republicans to continue to further erode our reproductive rights by banning IVF. That’s why Lori is supporting the Access to Family Building Act to shield access to this family-creating treatment for every woman in our country.
