♻️ Join Us this Thursday to Explore Utility Impacts on Affordable Housing

Don’t miss out on Powering Up, Utility Impacts On Housing Costs, happening remotely this Thursday from 12-1:30PM PT!

If cost is a barrier, please Karin at [email protected]

As we try to serve new communities with improved utility services and advance clean energy all-electric buildings, the implementation and installation of electric infrastructure have become a critical piece of managing housing construction timelines and costs. This Brown Bag training will provide:

✅ Clarity and simplicity on the process of delivering electric infrastructure to communities and projects that need it

✅ Tactics to reduce time impacts and cost overruns while implementing electric infrastructure

🏘️ Exploring the Promise of Affirmatively Further Fair Housing

Join us remotely on Wednesday, June 26 from 12-1:30PM PT for a Brown Bag training: Making State Oversight More Equitable, as we bring together local advocates from across our region to discuss the promise of Affirmatively Further Fair Housing (AFFH) and opportunities to further increase its impact.

If cost is a barrier, please Karin at [email protected]

Context: In some ways, the AFFH mandate transformed the nature of the Housing Element, causing cities to implement a suite of production, preservations, and protection policies that previously would have never been on the table. In other ways, AFFH rules failed to hold cities accountable, leaving some of their most exclusionary practices in place.
