I want to encourage us all to come together to uplift the lived experiences, practices, and innovations that immigrants have made to our communities.
John, Happy Immigrant Heritage Month!
This month, and every month, I am grateful to celebrate the lived experiences, practices, and innovations that immigrants have made to our communities.
I came to the United States at 16 years old because my parents thought this country is where I could succeed, they believed in the American Dream. And every day, I am reminded of the resilience, courage, and contributions that immigrants bring to this country.
As an immigrant, and someone who has spent decades organizing for immigrants’ rights, I know that now more than ever, the American people want — and deserve — an immigration system that champions real solutions over harsh enforcement.
In Congress, I will continue to advocate for real solutions that allow all of us to thrive, not just survive. If you stand with me and this collective work, please contribute $3 to strengthen our movement.

I am forever grateful for the support and faith you have in our movement, John. Thank you.
