What a difference a year makes! Last June, we started a “Take Back the Flag” campaign to push back against the MAGA movement that was irreverently using our American flag as a symbol of their false patriotism. This year, copying the January 6th insurrectionists, MAGA is disgracing and disrespecting our flag by turning it upside down. Can you think of anything more un-American? Let’s take back the symbol of our nation by flying the 🇺🇸 right-side up and sharing photos of your flag or flags in your community HERE ([link removed]) during this patriotic season!

After watching the Trump flags, Confederate flag and other anti-American flags being flown by rioters on January 6th, Marie, a Union Volunteer wrote this song to reclaim our American flag - “the flag of the just and fair.” Click to watch and listen to her singing this personal and inspiring song.

We each have different ways of responding to an attempted insurrection and the authoritarian plans of the presumptive GOP candidate and the MAGA manifesto, Project 2025. Marie’s response was to write this song.
