[link removed] [[link removed]] It’s Simone, campaign manager for Andrea Salinas. I’m reaching out to explain why it’s so important that we assemble the resources to defeat our extremist opponent here in OR-06.
My first draft of this email went on for paragraphs and paragraphs, and everyone said it was too long. So instead, here are three quick things you need to know about our opponent, and if you agree that it’s urgent we defeat him, I hope you’ll pitch in $3 (or more!) to support our fight.

1) He doesn’t support a woman’s right to choose and has repeatedly attacked Oregon’s law protecting abortion rights (a law that Andrea helped pass).
2) This race is a rematch of 2022. In that election, our opponent personally poured millions of dollars into OR-06 to flood the district with misleading ads attacking Andrea. And he’s going to do it again.
3) A top MAGA super PAC has already reserved $5,500,000 worth of TV ads in this media market. Together with our opponent’s money, that is a staggering sum of money to contend with. And we’re only seeing it because National Republicans know as well as we do that what happens here in Oregon will determine which party controls the House of Representatives.
In 2022, this race was so close we didn’t even know who had won until several days after the polls closed, so I’m serious when I tell you that every single dollar matters a lot for this campaign. Can you please pitch in today and help us out?
