🏳️‍🌈 Meet these LGBTQIA+ leaders 🏳️‍🌈 Giona Picheco is a Navy Veteran running for state representative in Rhode Island’s 14th district. Giona managed combat systems on a submarine and returned home from her deployment to find a growing hostility in politics for trans people like herself. Inspired to make a change and deeply rooted in her community, Giona decided to run for office and we applaud her for taking this next step in her service.   Learn more about Giona >> Representative Josey Garcia (TX-HD124) is a US Air Force Veteran, mother, and lifelong advocate for children and families with disabilities.
