Women and girls in Gaza need your help today.

A child and a woman in Gaza

According to UNICEF, a staggering 9 out of 10 children are experiencing extreme food poverty and lacking adequate nutrients. This harsh reality forces many children to go entire days without food.

155,000 pregnant women in Gaza are suffering from hunger and the diseases that accompany it due to life-threatening shortages of food, water, and medical care.

Without the fuel needed to run hospitals and incubators, lifesaving operations, including maternal services for pregnant women, are at risk of grinding to a halt. Mass displacement is worsening the water and sanitation crisis and threatens to increase infectious diseases as the weather gets warmer.

The health of mothers and babies are at risk due to the lack of healthcare and maternal supplies. But, powered by your donations, UNFPA can be there for them.

UNFPA: The United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency has already assisted half of all births in Gaza since last year, deployed mobile health teams, and trained 50+ midwives to ensure safe births in even the most difficult-to-reach places.

So, will you make an emergency gift to deliver lifesaving care to women and girls in Gaza and wherever your help is needed most?

MAKE AN EMERGENCY GIFT

We condemn the violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, and echo the UN Secretary-General’s call for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas. The suffering must end and peace must prevail.

Thank you for being there for women and girls.
