* *Summary:* DHS updated policy to allow a person?s waiver or AC program to remain open for 30 days when they have been incarcerated temporarily.

* *Audience:* Lead agency staff, service providers and other interested parties
* *Summary:* DHS provided an update on the MnCHOICES revision project and clarified instructions for assessment results and the CDCS budget methodology.
DSD messages
Employment First Capacity-Building Grant Program [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* Counties and tribal nations that administer disability waivers
* *Application deadline:* July 12, 2024
* *Summary:* DHS is accepting applications for grants to support counties, county coalitions and tribal nations that administer disability waivers. These grants will increase competitive, integrated employment outcomes for people who use home and community-based service (HCBS) waivers and intermediate care facility for persons with developmental disabilities (ICF/DD) services.

Webinar announcement: DWRS Cost Reporting Demo and Q&A ? Day Program Providers [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* Cost report preparers for day program providers that provide disability waiver services
* *Event date:* July 9, 2024
* *Summary:* The DWRS Cost Reporting Team will host a demonstration and question and answer (Q&A) session about cost reporting for day program providers.

Webinar announcement: Caring for Children with Complex Needs: Intervention Services, Case Management Alignment and Policy Requirements [ [link removed] ]
* *Audience:* Waiver case managers, children?s mental health case managers, child protection and child welfare case managers, child foster care licensors and other interested parties
* *Event dates:* July 10 and 16, 2024
* *Summary:* The Child Safety and Permanency, Behavioral Health and Disability Services divisions will co-host two webinars about support for children with complex needs and their families.

* *Audience:* Personal care services providers, personal care assistance providers, waiver service providers, home health care providers and other interested parties
* *Updated event dates:* Sept. 23 and Dec. 16, 2024
* *Summary:* The EVV team canceled the June 24, 2024, EVV Quarterly Updates session because they do not have any updates to share.
