Wondering where Leonard Leo has been amidst the flying of MAGA battle flags by Justice Alito?

Well, he’s been leading a public relations campaign to get the Supreme Court to – you guessed it – shield Big Oil from being held accountable for the climate damages the industry has inflicted on the American people while it raked in trillions of dollars.

This is no surprise from Leo, a central figure in the scheme to capture the Supreme Court, which is heavily funded by right-wing, pro-pollution billionaires and corporations.

So let’s get this straight. Big Oil is trying to avoid financial accountability for its climate-related damages. Big Oil’s campaign to influence the Supreme Court is being run by Leonard Leo. Leo had a hand in getting most of the conservative justices onto the Supreme Court. Leo’s dark money web works to bend the government to the will of the polluters – at the expense of the American people.

From MAGA battle flags to the dark-money Court-capture operation, it’s clear we need to pass an enforceable code of ethics at the Highest Court in the Land and restore its integrity.
