Dear Friend,

We're nearly halfway through Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, and I'm thrilled to report that we're making strong progress toward our $1 million goal. But we need your help to ensure we're successful.

There are just too many lives at stake. The facts about Alzheimer's disease are startling, and as you may have seen firsthand, its impact is devastating. Consider this:
  • It's surprisingly common: About 1 in 9 people age 65 and older is living with Alzheimer's dementia — although people younger than 65 can also develop this disease.
  • It takes an incredible toll: Beyond the emotional heartbreak of loving someone with Alzheimer's, more than 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for a family member or friend living with dementia, a contribution to the nation valued at nearly $350 billion.
  • It's fatal: There's currently no cure for Alzheimer's, and it kills more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.
But if you act now, you can help us make TRIPLE the impact in our fight against this cruel disease. That's because the Leeolou Family Foundation has pledged $1 million to the Alzheimer's Association in support of local chapter programs and Alzheimer's research efforts — but only if we achieve our $1 million goal by June 30. Your support can have 3X the impact on critical research efforts and help provide care and support.
It's time to make triple the impact.
Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month Million Dollar Triple Match
Since the start of Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, people all over the world have chosen to "Go Purple," share their stories, engage in advocacy and more. It's this shared commitment to ending this relentless disease that always makes the month of June so powerful. If you've been thinking about joining this powerful moment, now is the time.

Together, we can make 3X the impact on our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

Friend, I know you care about our mission, and I hope you take this opportunity to support this important triple match today.

With Food and Drug Administration-approved treatments available to slow progression of the disease in people living with early Alzheimer's, there's real progress in this fight. While new treatments offer hope to some, they aren't the answer for everyone. We won't rest until everyone living with dementia of any kind — at any stage — can get the treatment, care and support they need and deserve. Please support our Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month Million Dollar Triple Match to help provide care and support to those who need it and to be a part of the next treatment breakthrough.
Your gift makes an impact felt around the world.
