john,
In recent weeks, numerous stories about Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito have cropped up:
* He flew an upside-down American flag on the days after the January 6 insurrection at the United States Capitol.
* He also flew a different flag in front of his beach house that carries significance to far-right government movements.
This is significant because a major Supreme Court case is on the docket related to Trump’s legal immunity. And because Trump is now pleading to the Supreme Court — one-third of which he appointed to the bench — to intervene before he’s sentenced for his 34 felony counts.
john, the Supreme Court is fundamentally broken in its current state. It’s biased and unethical. That’s why I support an enforceable code of ethics for the Supreme Court and believe it’s time to increase the number of seats on the bench. If you agree, add your name in support today. FIX THE SUPREME COURT [[link removed]]
The problems with the court don’t end with Justice Alito, john.
For years, we’ve known that Justice Clarence Thomas is close friends with conservative billionaire Harlan Crow — who has paid for luxury vacations for Thomas and his wife.
Oh yeah, and Clarence Thomas’ wife was at the January 6 “Stop the Steal” rally and directly communicated with Trump’s chief of staff on the day of the insurrection.
john, the Supreme Court as it exists today is fundamentally different from the non-partisan, justice-minded body the Founding Fathers laid out in the Constitution. It’s time for us to fix the courts.
I’ve been vocal about the changes we need to see in the Supreme Court to restore faith and trust in the institution.
john, if you agree it’s time to take action to fix the Supreme Court, add your name to my calls for action >> [[link removed]]

Now more than ever, we need to demand real fixes to the Supreme Court — before they take away more of our fundamental rights and freedoms.
Thank you for taking action,
Tina
