TDI approves TWIA revisions filed to conform to HB 3208

TDI has approved updates to TWIA's policy forms, declarations pages, and rating rules manual to reflect House Bill 3208 [ [link removed] ], which was enacted during the 2023 legislative session.

The updates specify that TWIA will keep the entire annual premium when an insured cancels a policy, depending on the reason for cancellation. TWIA can refund unearned premium only when a cancellation is for one of the reasons listed in House Bill 3208. *The updates do not change TWIA's rates.*
