Team,
Tomorrow, Congress will hold a hearing on the urgent need to protect immigrant youth as we approach the 12th anniversary of the DACA program.
United We Dream Action has set a goal to raise $12,000 ahead of the anniversary on Saturday — and last we checked, we’re 34% of the way there. Can you pitch in $12 before tomorrow’s hearing to close the gap and fund our fight for permanent protections?

The clock is ticking. Right now, hundreds of thousands of DACA recipients and DACA-eligible young people are awaiting a critical decision in a lawsuit seeking to end the DACA program.
Tens of thousands of people have relied on DACA to be able to work as nurses, teachers, entrepreneurs, and valued employees, and in the process strengthened our communities and our economy.
Yet our ability to work and live in the country we call home is under threat because of a small contingent of right-wing politicians hellbent on putting our lives at stake for their own political agendas.
It is Congressional inaction that has led us to this moment.
It is Congressional inaction that has left the DACA program vulnerable to attacks from the far-right.
So now it is up to Congress to deliver. DACA was never meant to be a permanent solution. After 12 years of temporary band-aids, it’s time for legislation to permanently protect immigrant youth.
Will you rush a donation of $12 (or more!) ahead of tomorrow’s hearing to pressure Congress to finally deliver on their promise for permanent protections?
