Hi, it’s Jasmine Crockett, the Democrat representing Texas’ 30th Congressional District.

Let me tell you the story of how "bleach-blonde, bad-built, butch body" was born:

-- First, Marjorie Taylor Greene decided she wanted to insult my appearance in an official House committee proceeding

-- Then, I pointed out to MTG and her Republican allies that it’s flatly against the rules to make inappropriate comments about a fellow member of Congress.

-- Nevertheless, she refused to apologize, and the Republican committee chairman even ruled that her behavior was fine.

-- So I had no choice but to ask for clarification, because I wanted to know if I could return the favor and discuss MTG’s appearance too.

This is what happens when people who don’t give a damn about the rules somehow end up in CONGRESS!

The only way to make sure MTG is held accountable for her outrageous attacks on me and my colleagues is by making sure her Republican allies never hold the House Majority again.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you personally.
