Ohio Republicans’ path to success? Silencing voters six ways to Sunday. Exhibit A: Ohio’s Republican-controlled Supreme Court left heavily gerrymandered districts.

The Brennan Center for Justice says it best:

“When map drawers gerrymander district boundaries, their goal is to lock in their desired election outcomes and leave voters without a meaningful choice. And that is exactly what Ohio’s politicians have done.”

The Ohio GOP drew ridiculously gerrymandered maps. Then the Republican-controlled Supreme Court dismissed lawsuits challenging these maps.

This is rigging at its finest, team. But we’re not giving up. This year, we can secure a Democratic majority on the Court that will serve as our last line of defense against partisan gerrymandering.
