Have you ever been a victim of Ticketmaster’s hidden fees that quadruple the price of your ticket? Or waited in a long queue for unavailable tickets to the concert you’ve been looking forward to?

That’s what happens when monopolies exist — they control the market and manipulate consumers.

But the Department of Justice has officially filed an antitrust lawsuit against Ticketmaster and their parent company Live Nation in order to create more competition in the entertainment industry!

As MI-11’s congresswoman, I prioritize the interests of Michigan consumers over giant corporations every single day. In a country where the cost of living is already high, folks shouldn’t be having to drop thousands of dollars to attend a concert or a sporting event.
