Now that ballots have been mailed out, I want to briefly discuss the stakes of this election on June 25th and let you know why it’s critical that we make the right decision as to who will represent the Democratic Party, most likely against Lauren Boebert this fall.
We know our district has been forgotten by political elites for a long time now. And we know how desperately we need some changes. We need better educational and job opportunities for our children, we need more affordable health care, we need to maintain and protect our ecosystems, and so much more.
The fact of the matter is, if Lauren Boebert wins and returns to Washington with a Republican majority, none of those issues that matter most to us will ever see the light of day. We’ve seen from her time in her old district that Boebert only does things that will get her more appearances on Newsmax. Service does not interest her.
That’s why it’s crucial that we send the Democrat most capable of beating her into the general election. I believe I am the one in this race who can take on and beat Boebert.
