John,
Imagine paying $200 a month for water that's poisoning your family.
This is the reality for our friends and neighbors in Morgan County where the water is contaminated with uranium and radioactive lead .
This is a public health emergency. But the community has been ignored by people in power for years.

Despite countless violations and warnings, authorities have repeatedly failed to enforce regulations or protect our families.
The local water district operated without proper approval or regulatory oversight, leading to this crisis. Residents have been begging for help since 2007 and NO ONE has helped them.
This is the situation Morgan County families have been dealing with for 17 years:
*
Toxic
Water
:
Residents
are
forced
to
use
water
filled
with
radioactive
contaminants,
putting
their
health
and
safety
at
risk.

*
Failing
Infrastructure
:
The
local
water
district
has
left
the
infrastructure
in
disrepair,
leaving
families
without
access
to
clean
water.

*
No
Accountability
:
Despite
nearly
200
violations
and
warnings,
authorities
have
failed
to
enforce
regulations
or
protect
residents.
I know what it means to fight for what's right, and I’m disgusted that no one has stepped up to help these families. That changes when I’m elected.
I’m the only candidate in this race polling ahead of Lauren Boebert, and we’re leading by 14 points.
Our campaign is hands down Democrats’ best chance to flip this seat and get these families the help they need. Will you donate today to make sure Boebert has to face me in November?

We cannot stand by while our fellow Coloradans are left to fend for themselves. As your congressman, I will:
*
Fight
for
your
right
to
clean
water
:
I
will
work
tirelessly
to
ensure
that
every
family
in
my
district
has
access
to
safe,
clean
drinking
water.

*
Hold
polluters
accountable
:
I
will
fight
to
enforce
regulations
and
make
sure
those
responsible
for
this
contamination
are
held
accountable.

to
modernize
our

But I can't win this battle alone. To bring more attention to this critical issue and fund our campaign to victory, we urgently need to raise $3,000 this week. Can I count on your support to help us reach this crucial goal? [[link removed]]
