Over the next few weeks, you’ll be receiving a number of emails from campaigns nationwide—including ours—about this month's FEC fundraising deadline.

We know receiving a lot of messages can be overwhelming, so we wanted to take a moment and explain what this upcoming deadline is and why it’s so important:

You see, every three months candidates are legally required to submit their fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). These numbers are then published for everyone—including our Democratic allies, our right-wing opponents and the media—to see.

Our next deadline falls on June 30th, and it's critical that we post the strongest numbers possible. That's because any sign of a slowdown could mean cutting back on helping Tammy’s colleagues in tough races across the country. It could also send a dangerous message to National Republicans that our Senate majority is vulnerable.

The reality is the vast majority of our grassroots support comes from supporters like you, chipping into emails like this one. And with our next FEC deadline just weeks away, we have to ask:

Can you please make a contribution—$5 or any amount you can afford—to support Tammy as we approach this month's FEC fundraising deadline? We wouldn’t be asking if it weren't so important to our campaign's success.
