Check out the recording of another stellar panel from the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference (PIELC): KICKING GAS: The movement to transition off of methane in the PNW ([link removed]) . Breach Co-Founder and Climate & Energy Strategist Danny Noonan joined lawyers, advocates, and policy wonks from across the region to discuss various approaches to decolonizing the gas sector. Speaking of a just transition off of fossil fuels, the City of Eugene is considering ways to transition to cleaner energy sources, more efficient energy use, healthier living spaces, and more resilience to extreme weather. They have released this survey ([link removed]) to help staff develop strategies to reduce emissions from buildings and create a more sustainable future for Eugene. The survey is also available in Spanish ([link removed]) . If you live in Eugene, your input is crucial. Let’s overwhelm them with calls for strong electrification policy! The survey closes this Wednesday, June 12.
