Dear Friend,
Ensuring our communities receive their fair share of federal funding has always been one of my top priorities in Congress. Many times, that takes the form of a grant: a type of federal financial assistance to fund projects and programs that provide public services for a community.
Over the past two years, Congress has passed transformative pieces of legislation that have become law, including the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Together with Congressional appropriations, these represent opportunities for funding and investing in our future.
That’s why I’ve decided to launch a new newsletter dedicated entirely to federal grant opportunities. If you are involved with an organization that fits in one of the categories listed below and are interested in learning more about grant opportunities, I encourage you to sign up for my grants newsletter by clicking here.
- Government Organizations (e.g. state, local, and tribal governments, and police and fire departments)
- Education Organizations (e.g. school districts, public and private institutions of higher education)
- Public Housing Organizations (e.g. public housing authorities, Indian housing authorities)
- Nonprofit Organizations (e.g. 501(c)(3)s other than institutions of higher education)
- For-profit Organizations (e.g. organizations other than small businesses)
Please note that these grant opportunities will not be sent to my general newsletter subscriber list, so you have to sign up for my grants newsletter to get special information about available federal grants.
My office is here to help in working to secure federal assistance for our communities. As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to any of the numbers listed below with any questions.
Sincerely,
Bill Foster Member of Congress
