GOAL: 10,000 signatures to Congress

Hi,

Last month, we told you how the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently finalized nine historic standards, achieving monumental progress on climate and clean air.

None of this progress would have been possible without your continued advocacy.

But, big polluters and their cronies—including Edison Electric Institute, the group that lobbies on behalf of utility companies across the country—are working relentlessly to undo all of it.

The Republican-led House is following suit with Big-Oil-backed efforts to attack the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and take away the biggest climate investments in history.

Will you join us and our partners in the climate movement in reminding Congress that they represent us, NOT polluters?

ADD YOUR NAME

Under the bold leadership of the Biden administration, EPA, and every member of Congress who led the fight to pass the IRA, the U.S. is doing more than ever before to tackle the climate crisis. EPA's regulatory analysis projects that the new limits on carbon pollution from power plants, together with the IRA, will lead to a 75 percent reduction in carbon pollution below 2005 levels by 2035.

But big polluters and their friends in Congress are more interested in padding their wallets and continuing business as usual than protecting our health and communities.

✍️ Sign the petition to Congress now to tell them to defend our climate.

Thanks for all you do,

Jessica Hamilton
