Snap Election Emergency Appeal

Dear
SPUC supporter,
Rishi Sunak has called a snap election for the Thursday 4^th July. SPUC was founded in 1967 to legally protect the unborn and this is why general elections will always be periods of the intense activity for us. Like most of the country, we were not expecting to launch this emergency appeal and campaign - but it is absolutely essential that we bring the cause of the most vulnerable into the election debates.

Decades of normalisation of abortion by the media have tried to exclude abortion from what are seen as the main election issues, such as health and immigration.

“Abortion is healthcare” is the new mantra of the abortionists. This reflects their fear that abortion is being de-normalised and moving back into the realms of “controversial”. From “controversial” they realise it is a short move to “unacceptable” and from there to “unthinkable”. This is why they will do everything they can to keep abortion out of the election debate relegating it to bygone era, a footnote at most.

But how can the ending of millions of tiny innocent lives be a footnote when the nation goes to the polls? We MUST bring their voices back into the election debate.
The desired outcome of healthcare is not DEATH: The picture above shows one of the many cemeteries for aborted babies across the world.
In the US, abortion is now the single most important issue in national elections. It may seem that we are a long way from that here, but it wasn’t always the case in the US. Pro-lifers there worked tirelessly to ensure that the central focus for electoral campaigns was the right to life for the unborn

Pro-abortionist academic Jennifer Holland in her history of the pro-life movement stated, “They had to convince a whole host of people that this was not only political, but the most important political issue that there is, and that everything came second to opposing abortion.”

In the UK, we must do the same. But such an achievement will take time, dedication and, yes, money.

“Abortion UK” is Big Business, abortion providers pull in hundreds of millions of pounds every year from their terrible trade in death, and they will for sure be using these elections to push their “abortion is healthcare” message.

We currently need funds for our:
Online MP voting tool – COST £25,000
Newspaper Ads - £10,000
Online Advertising and PR - £25,000

Target: £60,000

Please help our election campaigning with as generous gift as you can!

Together we will make abortion unthinkable.
