This Pride Month, I’m celebrating our wonderful LGBTQ+ community's history, and reaffirming their right to live whole, happy lives with whoever and however they want.
I don’t have to tell you that the LGBTQ+ community is under attack from right-wing extremists, like my opponent. In fact, The United States doesn’t currently have federal laws that specifically protect the LGBTQ+ community from discrimination and protect their civil rights. That’s why once in office, I am committed to supporting and advocating for the passage of the Equality Act.
But for now, I could use your help to demand action to finally pass the Equality Act and protect the rights of all Americans – no matter their gender or sexual orientation.
