Hello partners,

Our nation is facing a health care affordability crisis, largely driven by high and rising hospital prices and the harmful business practices of large heath care corporations.

But these prices are not only hurting patients, they are now a major hidden driver of stagnating wages for workers and higher operating costs for small business owners, leading to unsustainable increases in employer-sponsored health insurance premiums at the cost of wage growth that particularly hurts middle- and low-income workers.

Please join us for our newest webinar on Thursday, June 20, at 1pm ET, The Weight of High Hospital Prices: Keeping Workers and Small Businesses Under Water.

This webinar is based on our recent report of similar title. You can register to attend here.

As our report lays out, if policymakers do not take action to rein in high and rising hospital prices and the harmful business practices of large heath care corporations, low- and middle-income workers, a group that disproportionately includes people of color, could lose nearly $20,000 in wages over the next decade.

Families USA along with leading labor advocate Maya Holmes, Health Policy Director from UNITE HERE Culinary Health Fund, of Nevada, and David Chase, Vice President, Policy & Advocacy at Small Business Majority, will break down what is at stake and how we can work towards solutions.

Thank you. Please let me know if you have any questions, and we hope to see you there!
