I had to make a pretty difficult decision over the weekend, and I need to tell you about it.

In conversations about campaign strategy with my team, it's become clear to me that we urgently need to expand our voter outreach to persuade undecided voters to turn out to vote next Tuesday in my primary.

Why? We need to send an urgent message to my MAGA opponents that we have a powerful coalition of voters ready to take them on this November.

I gave my team the clear. It wasn’t an easy decision, John, because the money wasn’t immediately in the budget.

But I approved the expense because it’s what we need to do to win — and because I bet on this team, knowing you will help us fill the budget gap. That’s how much faith I have in this team and our pro-democracy movement.
