Six consecutive polls have shown Donald Trump and President Biden in a statistical dead-heat in Minnesota. Now, a seventh poll from the Star Tribune confirms Trump voters are twice as “enthusiastic” heading into November’s election.

This morning’s brand new poll comes after Trump raised more than $70 million from supporters rushing to his defense in the days following his 34-count felony conviction. 

The takeaway? A felony conviction isn’t going to stop Donald Trump from becoming President again. In fact, MAGA Republicans up and down the ballot see his legal troubles as an opportunity to fire up the most extreme elements of their base. And it’s working.

John, there’s only one way to stop Trump: at the ballot box. And since he’s going to do everything he can to flip Minnesota red in order to secure his path back to the White House, the work DFLers do over the next five months will decide the future of our state and country for generations to come.

That’s why I’m following up with you directly this morning. While Trump’s fundraising was surging last month, we fell behind our budget targets, and we need a boost to keep our operations running at full capacity. To get back on track, we need to raise $15,000 online by EOD Friday.
