We just got an important race update: The largest GOP super PAC focused on House races announced it will spend $43 million on attack ads targeting critical blue seats like Mikie’s.

This ad buy doesn’t even include the $4 million Washington Republicans plan to spend in five states, including New Jersey. I’ll be honest -- this news has me nervous, but thankfully, I also got some good news:

A group of donors generously offered to match and double all contributions from now until the mid-month deadline tomorrow!

However, contributions will only be matched if 100 grassroots supporters chip in before midnight TONIGHT, so if you can contribute -- even if it’s only $5 -- please do so before the end of the night.

A GOP super PAC official said their new attack campaign lays out “a clear path that will position us to win back the majority.”

And he said it’s only the beginning.

The group will spend even more to defeat Democrats like Mikie in the months to come.
