The new Congress hadn't even been sworn in, and House
Republicans had already started their shady business by
trying to gut the Office of Congressional Ethics. Thanks to
our Democratic leadership in Congress and thousands of
supporters like you who tweeted, signed our petition, and
got on the phone with your representatives to put House
Republicans on notice, they have put aside their plan...
for now.

If this is any indication of how the 115th Congress is going
to be, we've got our work cut out for us.

We have to spend the next two years not only fighting back
against the GOP and their agenda, but also gearing up for
midterm elections next year so we can take back control of
Congress. This is a collective effort, Samuel, and we cannot do any
of this without your support.
