Remembering D-Day

June 6, 2024 marked the 80th anniversary of D-Day. May we forever remember and honor the courageous men who stormed the beaches of Normandy, changing the course of history forever.

Biden’s Sham Executive Order

Even one person entering our country illegally is too many. Biden’s executive order is nothing more than a desperate political scheme. His latest action to “secure our nation” still allows a minimum of 1.8 million illegal immigrants to enter our country each year. Instead of focusing on H.R. 2, which would immediately end the Democrat-created border crisis, he has chosen to lie to the American people and continue facilitating an invasion on American soil. Our Commander in Chief would rather play politics than secure our nation. This is a slap in the face to the American people.

Passed the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act

In May, the International Criminal Court (ICC) filed applications for arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. The ICC has ignored atrocities by Iran and other Hamas terrorists but threatens Israel with baseless charges as it fights for survival. I was proud to cosponsor H.R. 8282, the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act, passed in the House to protect our country and allies by deterring the ICC from pursuing illegitimate cases without jurisdiction.

House Committee on Small Business Hearing

This week, I led a hearing exposing the SBA’s voter registration efforts and their weaponization of federal resources. As Chairman, I am responsible for oversight of the Small Business Administration, and it is clear that the agency has deviated from the core mission of helping Main Street America. The SBA has entangled itself in electioneering activities which lack constitutional basis and betray the purpose of the SBA. The American people must have confidence that agencies are acting to carry out their duties without the fear of political interference. Watch my opening statement here.

In Case You Missed It!

Under Biden, small businesses have been crushed with stubborn inflation, high interest rates, and a significant labor shortage. While these issues have been hurting Main Street’s ability to thrive, the SBA has decided to dedicate their staff’s time and resources to register voters in a key swing seat ahead of the 2024 election. I will not stop calling out this misuse of power and will use every tool to get answers from the SBA. Watch my interview on Newsmax here.
