Thursday was the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. We honor the brave soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy to preserve and protect freedom. These patriots banded together and fought fiercely to liberate Europe from tyranny. We will never forget the sacrifices of the Greatest Generation.

The drug epidemic plaguing communities is the result of the sick social experiment on the part of the Biden Administration and the extreme left running our major cities. The root cause of this problem is the open border, which is benefiting cartels that funnel drugs into our country. Biden’s executive order does nothing to solve the border crisis, and even his former Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, admitted it was issued to address a major “political vulnerability.” I joined the "American Agenda" on Newsmax to discuss the issue. The border is in crisis. Here is a glimpse at Biden's record on the southern border after immediately canceling all the Trump border security controls on his first day in office.

- 10 million illegals have crossed into our country
- 300,000 U.S. overdose deaths
- Dramatic increases crime

Meanwhile, Biden has consistently told the American people the border is secure and that any problems are because of Republicans. This week, and with no legislation, Biden will temporarily cut the number of illegals in half, from 8,000 per day to 4,000. It is safe to assume this new policy will last until Election Day.

Americans need a President who will fully and permanently control the border and our national security and bring strength to the USA and our allies — not just when an election is approaching. Biden’s plan still allows for 620k illegals between now and Election Day, which alone will cost taxpayers $42 billion, according to House Budget Committee estimates.

Despite Biden's promise of a "fair and humane immigration system," his open border policies aren't compassionate; they are deadly – not just here in the United States, but in Mexico as well. Our open border is generating significant revenue for cartels, who profit off the drugs flowing into our country and increased opportunities for human trafficking and smuggling. This is making them stronger than ever in Mexico, leading to increased violence, death, long-term chaos, and a drastic influx of illegal border crossings. We need a president who will fully and permanently secure our borders, prioritize national security, and strengthen the USA and our allies. Our nation should have tall fences with wide gates, which is why we must secure our border. Republicans will continue to fight for effective policies, like those in H.R. 2, such as ending Catch and Release and reimplementing Remain in Mexico, to ensure the security of our country. Yesterday, Israeli security forces were successful in rescuing four hostages from the Nuseirat refugee camp. All four hostages were kidnapped from the Nova music festival on October 7. The United States must always continue to back our close ally Israel, primarily as they work to free about 120 hostages who Hamas has kidnapped. 

Unfortunately, the Biden Administration has not been there for Israel. They recently completely overreached, overstepped, and misstated Israel’s position on the so-called peace deal. We cannot undermine Israel in this process; we need to support them. Hamas must release the hostages, and terror groups that call for the destruction of Israel must be eliminated. What we saw in New York City the past few weeks was an abuse of our justice system against the former President of the United States. Prosecuting political opponents like this happens in third-world countries, not in America. I look forward to the players involved, like District Attorney Alvin Bragg, having to answer for their actions before the Judiciary Committee’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. The Biden Administration's Small Business Administration (SBA) uses taxpayer resources to register voters in Democrat target areas within Michigan. Despite publicly and proudly announcing this initiative on March 19, the SBA has since been almost entirely uncooperative with our investigation. The House Committee on Small Business and I will continue to investigate this betrayal of public trust. IN NEWS YOU WON’T HEAR IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA: Economic report good news for illegals.

Great news for Americans illegal aliens — employment among native-born American workers fell by 663,000 jobs <[link removed]> in May, while employment for foreign-born workers (mostly illegals <[link removed]>) spiked <[link removed]>.

That’s the Biden economy in a nutshell.

It’s another indication that Bidenomics is FAILING American citizens.

Unemployment in May ticked up to four percent <[link removed]> for the first time in more than two years <[link removed]> — particularly among Black Americans <[link removed]>, Hispanic Americans <[link removed]>, Asian Americans <[link removed]>, and veterans <[link removed]> — while job gains for March and April were revised down <[link removed]> for yet another month.

May recorded the largest drop <[link removed]> in full-time employment since December, while labor force participation fell again <[link removed]> and remains far below pre-pandemic levels.

Meanwhile, permanent job losses increased <[link removed]> in May — continuing an upward trend <[link removed]> since late 2022 — while the number of long-term unemployed Americans rose <[link removed]> for the third straight month.

None of this helps Americans struggling with “soaring” housing costs <[link removed]>, surging electric bills <[link removed]>, and high gas prices <[link removed]>.

Only President Donald Trump can get our economy working again for hardworking American families. He has done it before and will do it again.

This week, I was happy to meet with Dr. Lynda Goldstein, the chancellor of Penn State Wilkes-Barre. We discussed the campus's many great programs, the opportunities it provides students, and the institution's positive impact on the broader community. We also spoke about innovative ways to help drive graduates into the local workforce, which would benefit both small businesses and our economy.



Yesterday, I joined the Pennsylvania GOP Delegation meeting. We have a great, committed group of delegates excited to go to the RNC Convention in a few short weeks to nominate our next president, Donald J. Trump officially. Together, we voted to elect Jim Worthington, our delegation chair. (Pictured below)
