There are currently 218 Republican and 213 Democrats in the House – just a four seat difference. And that means that Republicans can afford only ONE defection on votes to pass GOP-backed measures.
This small margin gives power to some of the most dangerous extremists in Congress who want to hold up votes and delay progress for the American people.
