John, we all remember this shameful moment:
In the summer of 2020, Trump was incensed that Americans were exercising their constitutional right to protest. He forcefully cleared the square outside of the White House in order to stage a photoshoot in an outrageous attempt at projecting strength.
But most people don’t know what else happened.
Trump requested that the Military shoot Black Lives Matter protesters. According to his own Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, “It was a suggestion and a formal question.”
Civilian and Military leadership told him: No.
If Trump wins, he’s committed to hiring only the most loyal in his administration. He has admitted that he will purge the government of anyone found to be insufficiently loyal. He plans to fire generals he deems “woke.”
Who will say no next time? You know the answer: No one.
VoteVets was one of the most effective and influential organizations in the fight against Trump in 2020. We wrote the book on defeating him — moving voters most organizations on the left don’t talk to with messengers that they can’t use. We’re hard at work building the campaign that will defeat Donald Trump in 2024, and we need your support.
