A lot gets lost amidst Republican attacks on this district. But, I didn’t come to Congress for profit or to get involved in partisan drama – I came here to do the work a 50-year Republican stronghold failed to do for West Michiganders.

In my first year in Congress, I’ve fought attacks on reproductive rights, tackled climate change, and worked to end gun violence in our country. I’m so proud of the work I’ve started, but it is far from over.

National Republicans have left no doubt that they are coming after this seat, and they’re hellbent on rolling back our progress. Now, with new polling showing Trump ahead of President Biden in Michigan, they’re ramping up their efforts to unseat me.
