There are certain days that stay with you for a long time, JOHN. One of those days was eight years ago when the Supreme Court made marriage equality the law of the land.

I can't think of a better word to describe what I felt on that day than pride. I want to honor and celebrate everyone who has fought for progress of the LGBTQ+ community throughout history, both past and present. This fight is far from over.

Right now, we are seeing LGBTQ+ Americans being targeted through legislation that supports their erasure, ranging from book bans to ending gender-affirming care.

Even John James, my opponent, has aligned himself with anti-LGBTQ+ politicians and their hateful agenda.
